Week 8, practical 6a

After I took the online quiz, four classmates and I formed as a group for the coming assignment two. We decided to use the topic on discuss the usage of 2-Factor Authentication in the banking industry for our assignment.

I would use Google as my search facility to do my research. “(usage OR practice) AND (Bank*) AND 2-Factor Authentication” is the search phrases that include the keyword and variations which I was going to use them as key works to continue my research.

Based on the search phase, I found out two links:

http://www.gpayments.com/pdfs/WHITEPAPER_2FA-Fighting_Internet_Fraud.pdf http://www.passgo.com/news/ElectronicBanking.shtml

By using the evaluation template to exploit one of these websites, I found the template is very useful. It seems a guide line for me to think about whether the website is useful or not. The nine components of the template, which refer to purpose, coverage, authority, accuracy, currency, associability, presentation and agreement, usability and overall, gave me a clear direction to evaluate a website.
